Canadian Canal Cocktails

WWFB: Cocktail Boat Edition

The scene: Montréal, Canada. It’s another beautiful summer day. You want to enjoy a cocktail but not on land.

The Google informs you that your best bet for amphibious refreshment is Canal Lounge, so that is where you go.

Notice I didn’t call this post “Booze Cruise Edition.” That’s because this boat stays docked during the summer in Montréal’s canal.

Sadly, none of the cocktails or snacks had nautical puns in their names, and not a single one of the servers wore an eye-patch or peg-leg.

However, there was an unadvertised Sea Dog on board, so that was cool.

VERDICT: 9/10. Come for the beautiful people and tasty sangria; stay for more sangria and the hope of a visit from the elusive Sea Dog. One point deduction for lack of sea-related puns, although in my husband’s book, that would be a one point bonus.

Inside the boat, deciding what to order. Surely it will involve sangria.
